Hello FB Family and Friends, I’m 42 years old and I’ve been away from my family for nearly a year now. Getting a new contract caused me to make a life-changing decision; I decided to leave Atlanta and move to Memphis. My girlfriend was more than supportive. She wouldn’t allow me to pass up the opportunity. Upon accepting the offer, I asked her if she would come with me. The question definitely caught her off guard because she was thinking “long distance” relationship. However, we prayed about it and she decided to follow her heart. They arrived in Memphis August 3, 2013, one month after I got here to get a house, with her son and all of the items she decided to bring. I must admit that Memphis is extremely different from Atlanta, so we try our best to make it home. The hardest part of all of this for me is not being with my children every day. I miss them more than I can express. But we skype daily and I get them as often as possible with breaks in our schedules. We’ve been here for 9 months and she has still been unsuccessful at finding a job, but she never gave up. But we were able to create something new together. We joined New Destiny Church Memphis, and met some incredible people and they have truly been a blessing to us. I believe that this is not only MY season; I believe it’s YOUR season too. I’m not sure who this is meant for but a few weeks ago I felt like I was at my wits end, I wanted to give up and move back home. BUT GOD had another plan for me!!!!!! Now, I know that God has me here (Memphis) for a reason, in this season and has blessed me with an opportunity that is going to last me a lifetime!! Anytime you purchase a new cell phone, sign up for an email account or get a new debit card, it’s no good until you activate it. I want to let you know how to activate your f-a-i-t-h, forward all impossibilities to Him. You may be asking the question, how do I forward all impossibilities to Him? I’m writing this because I want to be a blessing to you as well. We’ve all heard the saying “in order to get something different, you have to do something different”, well I’m doing different and if you want to do different too, contact me ASAP!!!
