Hello FB Universe, it is nice to be back with a smile on my face and a little (not a lot) of pep in my step. I called dances last night at my home club Rollin Wheels Square Dance Club and Friday night at Square Halos. Everything is starting to come back to normal (well normal for me). It was a rough week, had a relaxing extended weekend in Westcliffe watching the fabulous Mike Seastrom and Dave Guille call at High Country Weekend. Came home on Sunday and had a very bad case of a flu bug (vomiting, diarrhea, dry heaves and the shakes, yuk), got over it on Tuesday. I went in for a stress test and nuclear imaging on Wednesday morning, had a reaction to the chemicals they use to induce stress, came home went to bed, more diarrhea, headaches. Spent the afternoon back in my doctors office to be observed and EKG and follow ups. Thursday morning went early for at rest nuclear imaging of my heart, no problems, wore heart holter monitor for the next 24 hours. Actually got a good night sleep Thursday night and life started to return on Friday day. Called the two dances and they went well, didnt miss a corner and feel like I am coming back to a better energy. The docs are weaning me off of the Amiodarone, but still taking maximum doses of my Carvedol. Energy will return as they reduce the amount of these two very strong heart meds. I missed seeing my friends Deborah Carroll-Jones and Jon while they were in town, feel bad about that, they only come once a year. Thanks for all of the prayers and kind thoughts.
