Hello Friends of NATL! We urgently need volunteers to help us plant our remaining wiregrass plugs! This is a very important step in our ongoing Upland Pine ecosystem restoration. Because we need to get this grass in the ground within the next week, we have scheduled three volunteer opportunities: Friday, July 26th at 9:00 am Monday, July 29th at 9:00 am Thursday, August 1st at 8:30 am If you can come out to one or more of those days, it would be a fantastic help to us and the natural ecosystems of beautiful Florida! All you need to do is wear long pants and closed-toed shoes and meet us at the Natural Area Pavilion (2042 Natural Area Dr, Gainesville FL, 32611). We will provide guidance, gloves, sunscreen and bug spray if needed. We hope to see you in the coming week!
