Hello Team Angel, Well, it was a very long recovery day for Angel. As we said, her surgery went well and she was transported to a 24 hour pet facility overnight for monitoring. She came off her IV pain meds and has transitioned to oral medications. Since there was no cutting of bone or joint, Angels recovery should be relatively smooth. The black callous that was on Angels elbow has been made smaller, but since it does benefit Angel, it was not removed. The incision was to the inside of Angels arm so there would be minimal irritation on a prosthetic. Also, her pre-op blood work looked good as well, showing that her new, correctly operating liver is doing what it should. Sorry that we couldnt provide video of Angel tonight, she is mostly just snoring in bed but wanted to give you a picture of her new look. The amputation revealed something very interesting, does anyone see it? Shout out if you do. Thanks to everyone who is still tuning in, we are glad to have your support and prayers. Yay, Angel!!!
