Hello folks, Here you have some pictures of the “Vintage Clothes and Gift Fair” event we organized on Saturday 26th October, in the Main Piazza of The Wulfrun Shopping Centre, in order to raise funds for The Haven Wolverhampton. The Wulfrun’s customers and the Wolverhampton community, from 10:00 am until 15:30 pm, could enjoy our line up of tables which included vintage clothing and accessories, baby clothes and toys, perfect gifts for Christmas and antique and modern books. This event would have not been possible without the support of some special guests. Such as Geef, a local artist who donated some of his paintings and all the money raised to the Haven, and Miss Fortunes, a fantastic vintage and retro vocalist trio who performed live for free from 12:00 pm. “It was great to see people enjoing the music and art work while they were browsing around our fundraising stalls and doing their regular shopping” (Marta Rios, Haven Lead for Retail). Their precious support allowed the Haven Wolverhampton to raise 216 £. Finally, a special thanks goes out to our volunteers for their commitment and continue support and to the Wulfrun Shopping Centre, which provided us with the location to make this event possible.
