Hello friends and family, We, Karl, Shyla, Aliza and Lydia have adjusted and really grown attached to Nashville. We are helping lead a relatively new network of house churches in Nashville that is dedicated to reaching people groups that have no access to the gospel, starting with people from those people groups that live in Nashville. We are doing church like this to make it accessible to anyone who is open to the Gospel. Shyla and I want to go see a growing house church movement in India, to know what we face as our network grows. We are also looking for particular clarity about what part we have in the network. We want some time to visit a number of house churches, hopefully meet with some network leaders, and look into the spiritual challenges that are faced by the church in a counter-Christian environment. We are planning to go between December 19 and January 4 when the school I teach at is on break. Overall, the trip will cost $6,000 for the flights, visas, and in country costs like food, gifts for hosts, and transportation. Because India is a spiritually bound and dark place, we will need prayer covering. Since the trip is beyond our means, we are looking for investors. You can be a great part of the team, we want to see God raise up many investors to see the Gospel spread far and wide to our city and beyond. Our goal is to foresee what could cause our movement to stall and wither, or invalidate our efforts. God is doing a good thing here, and we want to see it keep going.
