Here are photos of beautiful Eleanor. She is a senior rescued 3 weeks ago. While feeding my Key Food colony late one night I heard a cat crying weakly. When I turned on my high beams I saw her behind a fence. Apparently she fell off the hill behind the fence so she was trapped; it seemed she had been trapped there for a few days. The saddest thing was when I had to leave her to get the metal cutter. She panicked thinking I was going to leave her stuck behind the fence. The photos say it all. We got her to the vet where she had to be bathe and shaved due to extreme matting and compacted feces from her being immobilized for so long. Otherwise she is perfectly healthy. Eleanor is a gentle loving girl. She only demands petting, gentle tummy rubs and kisses. She is content to lay on your lap all day. She is overweigh which contribute to weakened hind legs. Eleanor needs a quite home with one or two other cats. She is not doing well at the shelter since we cannot prevent her from overeating and she is not able to move around freely due to intimidation from the other cats. There are just not enough volunteers to give them all even minimum attention. She seeks out attention whenever someone is there but....
