Here at High Desert Wildlife, this page started as a result of seeing needless snake killings in the news. We are here to help educate, remove problem snakes and ease peoples fears and the subsequent response to reach for the nearest shovel. Knowledge is power and there is no need to fear! Snakes are wonderful creatures, doing much good in the environment, who occasionally wander into our lives. Even venomous snakes (our only potentially dangerous snakes in CA are rattlesnakes) have their place. They arent out to hunt you down and bite your pets or family members.
