Here is a 5 image panorama from a chase I did in Nebraska on 11 May 2014. This day became known as the Mothers Day tornadoes. While I did not see the actual tornadoes, I did see a wall cloud, which you might be able to see toward the bottom left. This was a chase that was not for the faint of heart. It was a dangerous setup, HP madness from hell, but was a great test to see how I handle rough situations. Being a new guy to the state, having limited service, all that jazz, it was rather nerve racking at times. I would not encourage anyone to be chasing HP cells that has never chased before. Its too dangerous, even for the most experienced chasers. There were hoards of chasers, some truly experienced, and some locals who just want to follow the crowd. Never follow the crowd. Learn about the weather, help yourself make better and safer decisions, chase small storms that are not dangerous to get a small practice, just be smart altogether. There are plenty of great resources out there and one of those is comet.ucar.edu Have a great day folks, thanks for reading. :)
