Here is all you need for this year’s PhotoHistory XVI in Rochester on October 10 to 12, 2014. Note the reduced registration fee closes on September 15, so better register NOW and do get your hotel accommodation settled right away as rooms go fast. We include information for a table reservation for the big Trade Show. Note also there is a registration closing date of September 15 to receive the cheaper price. The Saturday Symposium has 11 illustrious speakers, banquet & speaker in that evening, then the trade show on Sunday. Reception Friday. The speaker list includes world-wide noted photo historians who will bring their knowledge and wisdom to the Symposium. From Bradford, England we have Colin Ford speaking on Photography: Hungary’s Greatest Export? Also England’s Dr. Michael Pritchard will present The Photographic Periodical Press 1853-1914 and from Munich, Germany Cornelia Kemp with The Uvachrome System of Color Photography. From America’s east coast Gregory Drake has Working Without Pictures: Recovering the Early Years of American Photography and from the west coast Ralph London will reveal the Geographic Origins of Still Cameras Manufactured in the United States.
