Here is honest reviews of the new stackable Cube Cases from Christopher Weed @ Showtime Magic Prodicts... I see all kinds of wonderful products by very talented folks in our business. However, its not very often that I see something that just blows my mind. Well, that recently happened when I placed an order for a new table from Showtime Magic Products. As many people know, Chris Weed took over the wonderful line of products that the late and great Joe Lefler had. Since taking over the line, Chris has introduced several new and exciting products including the new larger size cube table and matching rolling case that the cube table sets on. For several years Ive been using a different case that I had custom designed for me. My needs have changed and I needed something a bit more practical so I jumped on these new cases and bought them the day Chris put them on the market. The first thing I noticed when UPS delivered them was the incredible way that they are packed. I was impressed with the attention to detail. After I took them out of the box and attached the wheels I fell in love. These are NOT thrown together at all. They also are not made with pressed wood like other tables on the market. Chris told me that they are sanded and painted three times- wow! The carpet that is used is velcro friendly and made to last for years. The original cube table was 13 x 13 x 13 and the new one is 16 x 16 x 16 so you get a lot more room. Those extra 3 inches make a big difference! The matching rolling case is 16 x 16 x 20 which is perfect for my needs and I imagine it will be perfect for many others as well. I am able to pack a TON of stuff inside. All of my props go in the top with plenty of room left. I use the bottom case for my sound system, a fan, backdrop curtains, cables and lots more. There is a movable shelf for other stuff which can be moved as needed. Since Chris is a full time working professional, he knows what us performers need for our shows. Our gear has to be loaded and unloaded hundreds of times each year so we need something that will stand the test of time. How many times have you pulled up to a venue and it is pouring down raining?
