Here is what the Dr Emailed me Hi Marlin, I just wanted to - TopicsExpress

Here is what the Dr Emailed me Hi Marlin, I just wanted to touch bases with you regarding the lab tests we ran yesterday. The good news is the chest x-rays are normal, so no obvious masses have spread into the chest cavity. The blood work shows some signs of chronic inflammation and possible liver/gall bladder involvement. Despite the optimistic test results, we still can not ignore the fact that her cytology (cell identification/examination) test of the lymph nodes themselves showed possible lymphoma. At this point, I feel the best course of action is to place her on antibiotics and monitor her lymph nodes. If they remain enlarged after being on the antibiotics for 10 days, we need to recheck the lymph nodes with the needle biopsies and see if the signs of possible lymphoma have progressed. Even if the lymph nodes have decreased in size, but are still slightly enlarged, we need to check. The recheck cytology of the lymph nodes comes at a reduced cost as it is a recheck. Another option, is to consider scheduling an abdominal ultrasound to see if the ultrasound can identify any primary masses or spread of masses in any of her organs. Thanks so much and please give that sweet girl kisses for me! Dr we will pick up antibiotics today and we will see please keep us in mind thank you for all your support of Dojie R Starr the Human That Loves Her
