Heres a play by play of todays festivities: Late wakeup (Friday night goes really late). Shabbat prayer options: Traditional Service or informal workshops led by all- star counselors Yehuda Leiter and Akiva Taubenblatt. Grand Kiddush featuring an out-of-this universe chocolate trifle, grapes and more... The Werewolves game- an all-time Shabbaton fav... Shabbat feast complete with home beaked challah (regular and whole wheat), salad, meat knishes, deli roll, grilled checken, breaded chicken, cholent, kishka, eggplant dip (the best youve ever had), cole slaw, guacamole, chummus and ices... energetic singing and dancing and dvar Torah (delivered by Yoni Stein. Game hour featuring ping- pong tournament, nok hockey, Axis and Allies (greatest board game ever!!!) story time... resst period- menuchaaaaaaaahhhhhh. the DaNiSH unique Nageela scavenger hunt (won today by our oldest bunk, chummus with some creative answers from Gabe Lewis, Alex Sefia and Max Byrd) Saturday afternoon live- entertaining skits by our campers and staff. Mincha complete with Torah service and prayer for the sick. Shabbat dinner with a great spread complete with our traditional carrot rush Shabbos is going away, songs stories to send of our special day the right way Havdallah- musical service accompanied by Akiva on the guitar. Havdallah candle was held by third year camper Menacham Sosonov. Capture the Flag!
