Heres a story for you: last night before going to bed God led me to Matthew where it says life is more than raiment and take no thought for your life. Read it! Anyway I woke up this morning it was pouring down raining and I had no umbrella. I had to decide to be late for church and find a store or head to church for without an umbrella. I thought about what God said last night so I headed to church. Well I tried to protect myself from the rain but it got me good.. I felt so unpretty. Then the spirit gently said to me. Do you want people to love you for your outward appearance or for who you really are? I realized in that moment that we put too much emphasis on the wrong thing so I went to bathroom fix myself up and went into church. But I was free and I worshipped, cried and even went to the altar and did the ugly cry! It felt very refreshing to not care about my appearance in the presence of God! The point is dont get so caught up in impressing people with your outward appearance that you cant touch God with your heart!! He is there and He can do more for you than man ever can. It is better to have favor with God then man! #HappySunday
