Choose a solo artist or band whose name starts with that letter and post a video by them on your timeline, along with this text. so naturally i liked & was given the letter R by Endless! a favourite letter of mine, i couldnt really go past Robyn & Röyksopp who dropped the most awesome mini album mid-year this year. i was gonna choose DO IT AGAIN, which in my mind is the ultimate love song, but when i saw the video to MONUMENTS...well, if you watch, youll see why. i love MONUMENTS because of its brooding determination. it also has the awesome lyrics This will my monument / This will be a beacon when Im gone.../...So that when the moment comes, / I can say I did it all with love. thats a motto by which ive come to write my poetry. its a monument of love. its all i have to leave behind. this song is the soundtrack to that process.
