Heres an update from Jo Moseley on her amazing journey to raising so much for Macmillan Cancer Support. Please come and support her on Sunday 21st December at Ilkley Tennis Club. As we near the end of my challenge for Macmillan, I thought Id send you an update & invitation to the marathon row on 21st December in Ilkley. Having completed the million metres in 200 days, I rowed the half marathon on the bandstand in Ilkley on 29/11/14. It went really well and so many people came to say hello or help on the day. When a friend dresses up as a mouse on The Grove, you know you are very lucky! I was also very honoured that Jana Bakunina from Ladies Who Impress came to interview me about the challenge. I hope you enjoy the podcast! I would definitely recommend you sign up for her newsletters or follow on Twitter @LadiesWhoImpres. us6.campaign-archive1/?u=26495299b7b16cfa5c2b48ac5&id=5696a4b9c1&e=067141dbfa The marathon: just a few days until the 21st and rowing 42195m or 26.2 miles! If you are free to join us at Ilkley Tennis Club next week that would be wonderful. If youd like to row next to me, just ask at reception & they will sort it out. There will of course be tea & cake! We also have some fantastic raffle prizes, including a copy of the stunning Le Tour Yorkshires Two Days in Yorkshire, signed by Gary Verity, who brought the TDF to Yorkshire. If you cant join us on the day, but would like raffle tickets just let me know. Im more than happy to post prizes out! The good news it that’s Ive exceeded my original target but I still need your donations! It costs £25 an hour for a Macmillan nurse and I want to be able to create as many hours of support, advice & help as possible! Im so grateful for everyones support & donations. Please feel free to share my Just Giving details: justgiving/OneHappyRower Just Giving Text info - Text HAPY80 to £5/10 etc to 70070. If youre on Twitter, it would be fab if you could tweet or RT the details & ask others to or share on Facebook! The 21st is of course the 1st anniversary of when Mum died, its going to be a very special day in so many ways. Thank you very much for your support & please wish me luck - its a long long way to row!
