From latest reports looks like the duo are well on the way to achieving this feat, Here are some of the records Kaththi has set so far Kaththi has set record for the biggest solo release ever in Kerala getting 200+ Screens. MM Media (aka GK Media) confirmed Kaththi will be biggest Tamil release in USA. In UK, Kaththi is expected to release around 70 + screens which is also a new record for a South Indian film. Vijays Jilla, Thalaiva, Thuppakki and Nanban are among the best openers in UK Box office. Ayngaran release Kaththi in France over 24 Screens(Screen count to be increased). Kaththi will be released in record number of 120 screens in Malaysia by Ayngaran, which is the biggest for South Indian film.
