Heres my political rant for this year... I heard the $4 Billion number thrown around, for the midterm elections nationwide. $4 Billion dollars spent for jobs that pay less than $200K. I doubt that number included local mayoral races, or other small time political positions. Thats $80 million per state. All State and National level politicians are Rat bastards in my book. Its really about time to take the money out of running for office. It will never happen... But it would be a great start to getting this nations politicians back on track. Let them raise money for their primaries. Have a 3 party ticket. Once the primaries are settled. No more outside money to any party. Let our tax dollars be sparingly spread out to each nominee evenly. It will be their choice to waste it on TV commercials, Travel, Signs.. Let the best person win. This goes for every State and National election. Take the money out of the political game. We might start getting folks who would institute their own term limits. As well as look out for Americans rather than contributors.
