Here’s some great footage of The Seekers making their first performance at ‘Music For The People’ in 1966, as part of Melbourne’s Moomba celebrations at the Myer Music Bowl. They drew a crowd of 110,000 people, the largest in the twenty-year history of the annual concerts. Little did they know at the time, that the following year, they’d break their own crowd record. On this occasion, they performed just four songs - ‘Someday One Day,’ ‘The Carnival Is Over,’ ‘The Water Is Wide,’ and this one - ‘We Shall Not Be Moved.’
