Here’s what we know so far... The electron encircles the nucleus, but to call it a true orbit is false, as it occupies all positions until measured (interacting with anything). The edge of the universe appears to be accelerating away from the center, at rates faster than light. Our “physical” universe as we know it only makes up less that %6 of the ACTUAL universe, as we learn about so-called dark matter, bosons, and higgs bosons of different types that seem to make up “new” kinds of particles we were previously unaware of. It has been theorized, that if our “physical universe” is infinite, than all realities HAVE occurred if by nothing but random chance in an INFINITE universe, giving rise to a physical multiverse, where you could physically travel far enough to meet not only your exact duplicate, but an infinite number of alternate yous. Additionally, it has been postulated that with electrons inhabiting ALL possible places around their nucleus, and that the electron’s position is only determined when measured, that all the other infinite possibilities give rise to a SECOND multiverse, inhabited by not only your exact duplicate, but an infinite number of alternate yous, each with their OWN self-contained physical multiverse. Here’s what has occurred to me... With our physical universe, apparently making up only less than %6 of the actual universe, what if the other %94 that we’re only now discovering is the remainder of the multiverse? What if the big bang only produced a finite amount of actual matter, and while nearly incalculable, the various combinations of all of the various electrons in all of their various “infinite” positions, would only produce a finite amount of combinations... Just an idle thought to cross my mind...
