Hes still working on me, to make me what I ought to be. It took him just a week to make the moon and the stars, the sun and the earth and jupiter and mars. How loving and patient He must be. Hes still working on me! Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: I love this scripture. Another translation says that Hell perfect the work in us. Another says Hell complete it! Though we are saved and our salvation is complete, God is still working on us, in us, and through us! We have good days and bad days. Seasons of sunshine and seasons of rain. Seasons of sowing and seasons of harvest. Times of brokenness and times of healing. What a privilege to have a life directed and worked out by the one and only God who knows exactly what we need and when. It gives me peace that others dont know. It makes my failures bearable because Im comforted by the fact that Hes working on me! God sees equity and not iniquity in me.
