Hey Guys, got some updates, and thank yous to yall First and foremost, I want to thank all the kind and loving students who beat the fear of needles and drowsiness, and donated a pint of their blood today. You guys make me proud and motivate me to work hard for this club. Words cannot describe the magnitude of you kindness. You guys helped save a lot of lives today. Those of you who did not get to donate or volunteer in the blood-drive, you still have the opportunity to do so. Just drop by tomorrow and donate or volunteer, and you will get hours, and most importantly save lives. I do, however, need some sort of proof that you donated blood or you volunteered. I found out today that one student received a donor t-shirt even though she did not actually get to donate blood. This eliminates the option of using the donor t-shirt as viable proof of the fact that you donated blood or not. For this reason, I would like to instruct to those who donated blood to get the signature of the coordinator saying that you donated blood. If you cant do that, I would like to see the band that was wrapped around your arms after you finished donated blood (please put it in a baggie before showing it to me) and your t-shirt. You can show them to me in next meeting or before that, since we are possibly going to have a guest speaker. If you can, you can send a selfie/photo with your t-shirt and band to my e-mail that I send you the usual medical club announcements with, and I can record your hours. For volunteers, your only proof will be the signature from the coordinator saying how many mins you volunteered. You may send a pic of the signature to me as well. Lastly, please turn in your rice challenge points to Mrs. Magnapon no later than the end of this Friday. All I need is a print screen showing that you have completed 1000 points. Please note if you already used 1000 points for StuCO or NHS, you must have a submit a separate 1000 points. You cannot double did. A thousand points is equivalent to 2 hours towards the chord. Keep up the great work. I am really proud of you guys.
