Hey beautiful people, happy bow tie Friday to you, I’m so happy that you’ve joined this group. This is me just off to my photography class all dappered up for you and for bow tie Friday. Keep your pictures rolling in we want to see you, and invite your friends too - were going global! At the heart bow tie Friday is the desire to raise awareness around trans issues and gender diversity. I want this group to reach those people who don’t know anyone on the trans spectrum. To quote from the video below, “unless I had a close friend, or family member, chances are I wouldn’t take the time to learn about it and educate myself on the fact that there are people like this”. Tonight, Savoy Howe will be doing the official launch of bow tie Fridays at the Flying Beaver at 7pm. She’s going to tell you about our ideas, and we want to hear yours. There will be prizes galore so get your self on down there for an awesome evening of laughter and love. Next week for bow tie Friday sees the start of our weekly competition giving you the chance to win a free bow tie, free boxing classes, a chance to go on a date with a boxer etc etc, plus all sorts of other awesomeness that comes from having such a wonderfully talented community that wants to reach out and help build those community ties.
