Hey everyone...Steve underwent about 11 hours of surgery yesterday and is doing fantastic!!! He looks amazing! The surgeons are very pleased with the results and expect it to be a complete success. He is getting amazing care at UF Health in Jacksonville (Shands). Hes resting comfortably and the staff are doing a great job managing his pain and working very hard to make sure he has the best possible outcome. The doctors want him to rest rest rest!! So Im asking everyone to give him a few days before trying to contact him. Hes so very grateful for all the love and support and I know hell want to answer everyone back but its of the utmost importance that he stay very still, sleep as much as he can, and focus on healing so that he can achieve the best possible outcome. Hes been through a very long and difficult surgery and this will allow him the best chance for a successful recovery.
