Hey everyone. Updated Casting Call for Paradise Lost here! :) Since only one of the many groups I have joined has a specific outline for how to submit a casting call, I will try my best to adhere to that format, however, if I feel the need to go outside of that format to make my ad more understandable, I will. I hope to see you on The Other Side. FILM/SERIES WORKING TITLE: Paradise Lost - First feature film/series adaptation of the book EVER (that I know of). CASTING ANY AND ALL types, genders, ages, etc. We got an 11 year old girl playing an evil fallen angel, an older gentleman as the angel of death, and larger actors playing gods and demons. Dont be shy about your appearance or acting ability. My non-acting co-workers will be main characters so I am sure you will be fine. :) CREW would be nice, since Im the only one, but not required. LOCATION: Wilmington/Leland, NC (No travel compensation or room/board available.) THERE WILL BE NO COMPENSATION aside from being in the first ever adaptation of Paradise Lost, which Hollywood has given up on. Also there may be meals. :P DEADLINE for submissions and auditions is April 1st. Any character not portrayed will be axed until talent is found. THERE ARE NEXT TO NO background characters in this film/series. Chances are, if youre on board, even if you dont have lines, you will be credited as a character with a name! And there MAY be a spin-off/sequel in which most of the characters who are featured lightly in the first PL will be developed further. PLEASE FRIEND AND MESSAGE me on Facebook. Resume and audition videos are not required but appreciated. Oh! And for the record, in case anyone wasnt aware, this is a low/no-budget movie. A lot of you may know that Hollywood tried and failed to make this, because they focused on action and not characters. That being said, if you know any recognizable Hollywood actors who are bored and can afford to spend a year doing something like this, let them know. Jessica Alba still hasnt replied to my message :( But there are certain talent I am really interested in, such as Rachel Miner from Supernatural. Then again, who am I to be picky? :P Below is a list of characters. The number of asterisks (*) will tell you how bad I need the role filled. But if I dont feel like youre a good fit for it, I wont cast you as that character. Paradise Lost is a very appearance-based project. You could be the best actor in the world but the Archangel Michael is out of the question if youre not a good-looking male with at least rudimentary martial arts skills. Also, some of the angels or demons may wear modern clothing, but the humans such as Cain and Abel will not. Oh, and if you dont see anything you like, dont worry. Just let me know what you want and I will make it happen. Wanna be Ra? Sure. Bam. Done. Zeus? Thor? Well, you cant be Thor, hes taken. And so is Zeus I think. But you get the idea. If there is ANY god/demigod/angel/demon/hero/villain in history, mythology, or religion that you want to portray, just let me know and I may be able to write it in for you. :) ****************Raziel/Prometheus - female evil angel ***Cain - male human ***Enoch - male human hero ***Moloch - male evil angel/god, must be large build **Rameel - female or male evil angel **Daniel - male evil angel **Ezaqiel - female or male evil angel **Kokabiel/Oxomocco - female evil angel, must be of South-American or Mexican descent (ethnic goddess) *Marduk - male evil angel/god *Poseidon - older (preferably bearded) male evil angel/god *************Ariel (Lion of God) - female blond white girl or black girl with locks, angel starts out good, fierce, brave, and compassionate but falls later (I plan on making people cry with this one so I MUST have an audition from you, video or in person)**************** *****Talitha (young lady) - young, long blond or red-haired woman (will have a minor role originally but will be an essential character either at the end or in the sequel/spin-off) Several Background Artists (no experience or particular look required) Thanks for all the support.
