Hey guys, SDS is having a meeting on Socialism 101 tomorrow evening at 6 pm. Its in SSB, room 203. I cant attend because I have a meeting during that timeframe. But someone should definitely go! Heres the description of the meeting: We recommend that people go to this CPE class on socialism being taught tomorrow: CPE Presents: Socialism 101 This class will serve as an introduction to socialism, facilitated by Zachary Schultz and A.V. Ramanathan. We will discuss the history, theory, and politics of socialism. In addition we will also discuss current revolutionary socialist movements. From the Paris Commune to the Chinese Revolution, to the Naxalite Movement of India, socialists have a rich history of fighting against capitalist oppression. Their struggles for the liberation of the working classes, oppressed nations, women, and queer people have a lot to teach us.
