Hey guys, up first it’s… -Humans- The humans are the foundation of the Nevernorn’s story. Although other races were created first, it was the creation of humans that draw the attention of all the deities. When the God of Life, Tacnalorne’ created the humans, it was their freewill and their desire for a variety of things that drew the interest of all the deities. In the beginning the humans followed two core beliefs: those of good and those of evil. Though as the ages went on, their society became fractured, their ideals encompassing a great many goals. The humans are just as dedicated to good as to evil, to protecting those they care about, to amassing power and wealth, to seek out knowledge and discover new lands. Because of their variation on goals, humans receive many bonuses towards these goals. Humans may apply a +1 to any Core attribute of their choosing. This bonus is usually a result of a natural talent for their professions. Due to their need to adapt and challenge themselves, humans also receive a bonus weapon and non-weapon proficiency of their choosing. This represents training they have done for their adventures. Humans also receive a bonus non-weapon proficiency based upon the region they originate from. Below are the following regions/countries the humans may originate from, a small description of them, and the bonus weapon proficiency they will gain as a result of their heritage. Seizing half the nation of Loreania, the followers of Tempestra, Goddess of the Elements, have transformed this nation into an expansive empire occupying the northern reaches of Nevernorn. Through this new found leadership, the nation has begun travel and explores the vastness of the great sea that serves as the border of the realms of Nevernorn.
