Hey mom. This is our first Christmas apart. Even after you and dad got divorced it was so important to you that I was with you for Christmas, so thats the way it always was. I remember last year, dad wanted me to come out to Ohio with him to see everyone, and I said no, I think Ill stay home and spend time with mom. And that was such a good decision. ❤️ I remember how hard you worked to give me a good Christmas, and the look on your face when I would open gifts was priceless. That proud look was better than the gift itself. I miss you so much and this year is going to be really really hard. But I hope you are celebrating Christmas up in heaven.
