Hey there fellow creators! In a pretty expected turn of events, this page is being created mid-project (sort of), so lets jump right in! If you havent heard, FantasyCon is happening this July 4th weekend in Salt Lake City, and Im super stoked! This Con is about High Fantasy (more info can be found on their page), so Ive chosen a creature, rather than a character- namely, a Valkyrie. If youre not familiar with Norse mythology, you might be thinking of a Tom Cruise movie, but dont be fooled! A valkyrie is a sort of warrior angel of the battlefield. They come in every shape, size, and color, but have a few recurring themes throughout the references Ive found. For my costume, Ive chosen to mimic some of the same styles found in the classic art, a very romantic feel.
