Hi All AC Podiatry would like to announce that it is looking for a casual administrative assistant/receptionist. Details below PURPOSE OF THE POSITION The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative duties associated with a podiatry clinic. SCOPE The Administrative Assistant reports to the Practice Manager and is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will enhance the clinic environment. RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide administrative support in an effective, up to date and accurate manner • Maintain office files • Open and distribute the mail • Confirm accuracy of payment • Enter supplier, stock and equipment data were appropriate KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Knowledge of office administration • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality • Excellent interpersonal skills • Team building skills • Analytical and problem solving skills • Decision making skills • Effective communication skills • Good organizational skills • Be able to resolve conflict • Computer skills • Time management skills PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES The incumbent must maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties Administrative Assistant. The incumbent must also demonstrate the following personal attributes: • be honest and trustworthy • be respectful • possess cultural awareness and sensitivity • be flexible • demonstrate sound work ethics PHYSICAL DEMANDS The Administrative Assistant will spend long hours sitting whilst using office equipment and computers. This may cause muscle strain. The Administrative Assistant will also have to do some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time. THE CLINIC AC Podiatry aims to provide a modern yet caring approach to solving foot problems in people of all ages. Our team of podiatrists and administration staff will do everything possible to ensure a positive and satisfying experience. HOURS The position will be for a minimum of 2 days per week with the real possibility of increasing. Some after hours work will be required.
