Hi All, This Sunday we are blessed to have Aussie/U.S. artist Charmaine at New Hope! She’ll be leading worship and performing some of her latest songs, along with her 5 piece band. Charmaine has toured with Rebecca St James, The Newsboys and Jeremy Camp over the years. Here’s a clip of her music: I’ll be speaking on “10 Ways to Avoid Burnout.” After praying for many people last week who were really run down and exhausted. I felt the Lord give me a message to share on some biblical principles for rejuvenation and refreshing. The Lord wants to reach the world through his people, but if we are worn out all the time, we have nothing to give. So if we follow the guidelines from His Word, and put Him first. Isaiah 40:28-31 says, “The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Then in our 6:30pm service, we have Grant Norsworthy Sunday Nov 3rd 6:30pm @ New Hope Brisbane. Grant has been a part of the Paul Colman trio and Sonicflood! Jesus prayed that His followers would …“be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” John 17:21. Grant Norsworthy’s B1 events are not really concerts and not quite a church services. Instead they are an opportunity for followers of Jesus to come together as a step towards greater unity and oneness within the Church. Regardless of denominational affiliation, taste in music, preferred style of Sunday service or peripheral theology, Grant presents a program of songs, stories and teaching that turns the volume down on what divides us, and turns the volume up on the only ONE in whom true unity can be found: Jesus the Christ. God Bless, see you there! Matt
