Hi Everyone! I dont often make pleas and have never asked for money for a cause unless it was something that tugged on my heart very strongly. My friend As Favala was diagnosed with cancer this past year and had to have immediate surgery to remove her uterus and thus the chances of ever having children. She has a huge heart for children and she owns a kids sewing school in Delray Beach. Learning to sew is an art that you can grow old with. So why am I writing tonight. La Sewing Cafe is being threatened with closing their doors. They need to expand and they have been offered the chance to take over the entire historic building they are in, in the Delray area but the building is in desperate need of repair. LSC needs resources. Please help Alisha keep this dream alive for these young girls. She needs to raise no less than 20k for renovations and expansion. Alisha is a grad of Dreyfoos School of the Arts Foundation where Annie goes to school and she has dedicated her life to fashion and children. Every dollar counts. Please consider donating not to her, but to the kids of our community who enjoy the arts. Its these type of hobbies we need to keep alive in our world today because they are slowing falling away.
