Hi Everyone My name is Sarah, I am 24 and have lived in Glasgow - TopicsExpress

Hi Everyone My name is Sarah, I am 24 and have lived in Glasgow all my life. I am a waitress in the Premiere Inn and in any spare time I have I am a film maker. Recently I became a finalist in the Dream to Screen competition sponsored by Cineworld. Out of 500 people, 5 finalists were selected by a panel of judges including Dame Helen Mirren to make a short film based on the theme of Inspiration. I am the only Scottish finalist, and I got to make a film called The Cyclist. It is set in Glasgow and shows the real warmth and humour of British cinema. Anyway, the film is finished and the winner is determined by a public vote alone. The vote is open from now to the 19th of Sept and the winner is announced at the end of October. The winning film gets screened in every Cineworld in the country and the finalist gets to go to LA to learn more. The link to watch and vote for my film is dreamtoscreen.org/nominees/269/sarah-grant. Please please please, if you can, share this on the page and tweet about it #dreamtoscreen. It is the biggest thing that has ever happened to me, the film is so undeniably Glaswegian and I am just a wee Glasgow lassie trying to do what she loves. If I had the support of fellow filmmakers it would mean the world to me. Thank you so much for taking the time Sarah Grant facebook/thecyclistfilm
