Hi,I am sharing just a short piece from our recent event A Night at the Opera where the lovely talented Millie Booth sang for us here in Kingsbridge, as we launched and shared our intention to open a Centre to support those people suffering from trauma connected to global conflict. Since my son Dale was sadly killed in Afghanistan it has been my wish to support others who have been challenged by similar traumas. Our group the Healing and Spiritual Network are now planning to open this Centre for Peaceful Restoration, Recovery and Recuperation here in Devon. We have seen a property which would be ideal and we are now approaching various people, charities and organisations to obtain funding. Please visit our fb page in the same name, and share it with your friends as we need to connect with all people who may be guided to support us and help with this project. We are establishing a CIC with the title of Centre for Peaceful Restoration, Recovery and Recuperation and pledges of financial support and volunteering for all aspects of this community project will be invited. In this way, deep healing, recovery, restoration and recuperation will be offered to all those in need providing confidence, self-empowerment and skills to move forward in their lives and improving the quality of life for all concerned within family and the wider communities. Regular updates will be shared giving details of the 3R’s Programme, Aims and Intentions, and how this Centre will become a model to be replicated throughout this country and abroad. It is essential that support, healing, recognition and gratitude are given to all who have suffered on our behalf. We thank you all for your interest and future participation in this exciting, potentially demanding, adventure :)
