Hi all - This morning at 08:20 I was pulling out of my driveway in 7th street only to look up in my rearview mirror and see a gold Mercedes blocking my drive way. Had no idea what to do but gate was closing so I had to keep reversing. They began to crawl down the road at snails pace, and stopped at the corner of 7th street and 2nd avenue. I waited to see where the car went, but it just sat at the stop street. Eventually it started to edge over 2nd Ave to continue down 7th, but was crawling. Thinking this too weird (and freaked that they were stopped in my driveway) I decided to take a drive down 7th to make sure the car drove away. As I got near them, they immediately accelerated right into 3rd ave, and then turned up 8th street. Sufficiently unsettled, I turned around and drove back up 7th to head to work. I decided then to head up 8th street only to find them reversing down 8th. I drove past and did another circle around the block (because this is a fun way to start Monday) only to find the car pulled over on the corner of 8th street and 2nd Avenue with the driver just sitting behind the steering wheel - vehicle still on. Have alerted Cortac who went looking and found the car gone, but just thought I would give a heads up. It could have been nothing or a misunderstanding, but the stopping behind me in my driveway, the crawling down the road, the sitting at stop streets, and then just pulling over around the corner was all too weird for me in amidst the current spree of home invasions and crime -- Gold Merc 655 TTB GP -- just be vigilant and keep safe!
