Hi all, I am a newbie silkie owner in the north coast of NSW and while it doesnt really get that cold here, it has been raining steadily for the past 48 hours. My two girls are 16 weeks old and dont have the sense to get out of the wet weather and into their dry coop, so they are quite soaked (but not muddy). I have been drying them off with a hairdryer each day before bed time but realise I cant do this every day if I am not home. My question is, can they handle a little bit of wet weather or do they need to be kept dry at all times? They seem to be happy enough even when wet but I dont want them to get any respiratory issues etc. grateful for advice! :)
