Hi all, Im considering becoming a PCV, however I (and my mother) am/are a bit concerned about my being a white, American female in a potentially remote area. Can anyone speak on how the peace corps prepares women for service especially regarding the possibility of harassment or assault? I would really love to hear from recent RPCVs or friends/family of current PCVs since I understand there have been many changes in policy in the last few years.
