Hi everyone, 4 days ago I gave birth to this beautiful baby boy. He is perfectly healthy and happy, but we certainly noticed a couple of adorable quirks, including his hair, and the fact that his middle and ring fingers on both hands are webbed (completely on the right, only to the first knuckle on the left). He passed the hearing screen in his right ear, but hes not passing in the left (not failing, but not passing either, whatever that means). Well, were taking him to see a specialist, but my Midwife told us it sounds like Waardenburg Syndrome. I have no idea what this is, other than what google can tell me... To my knowledge, no one in mine OR my hubbys family has ever had it (but my mom was adopted, so we dont know anything about her family history). Does anyone have any resources I could look up?? I know it affects hearing, but what about brain and mental development? I think my son is simply perfect, I just want to know what to expect
