Hi everyone Apologies for the break in posts. We recommend the East Gippsland Rail Trail, though it doesn’t combine all that well with heavy rain. Back home, a little bit of warmth is doing wonders. First row of beans is almost up. A yellow robin in the vegie garden, plus a family of blue wrens marshalled by a male in full blue plumage; wattlebirds; scrub wrens and thornbills; crimson rosellas; a little flock of silver-eyes feeding on something in the tamarillo; loads of young magpies singing to us as they do. At least, I think they’re singing to us. I may be wrong. Spring is coming and going a bit, but when it’s here it’s glorious. Cheers Meredith
