Hi everyone, we are now less than one week away from the 50th anniversary of President Kennedys assassination. As I have mentioned a couple of times before, I was driving around town and noticed a man in a white SUV with the license plate JFK1963, in honor of the day President Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas. In all my years in Stockton, I had never seen that car or license plate before. It hit me that November 22nd will be the 50th anniversary of that horrific day. I started to feel this gloom that there may very well be some people hell bent on trying to honor that event by trying to assassinate President Obama on the same day, November 22, in 2013. Their plans may very well be already in motion. That day is this Friday. I also felt the urging of Holy Spirit to vividly remember a well-known prophetic voice saying that he believed President Obama would be the target of an assassination attempt sometime during his time in office. The 50th anniversary of President Kennedys death kept coming at me strong. We can stop this by praying for our presidents protection this week. Again, the Bible says that we must pray for our leaders. I know that I do not do that as often as I should. But rest assured I have been doing so since I saw that license plate. Lord God and Heavenly Father, I lift up our president to you. You have not told me that I have to agree with everything he does or says. But You have told me to pray for him because You, Lord God, installed him in his office. You have plans for him to prosper. You love him and want the best for him and his family. Lord God we ask that you would send your heavenly archangels of protection around President Obama during the time, the nearing of the 50th anniversary of President Kennedys assassination - one of the darkest days in our countrys history. Gird him with Your strength and protection. Prevent any fiery darts of the enemy from causing him or any member of his family harm. Let them be supernaturally protected. Gird up his faith in You, Lord God, even more so than his physical protection. If he has not come into a truly saving relationship with You, Lord God, send your Holy Spirit upon him and envelop him in a way that he cannot resist before the day is too late. If he is in a saving relationship with You, Lord God, strengthen it during this next month. Let him feel an inescapable sense of urgency with You. In the name of Your Son Jesus, and in unity with Holy Spirit, I ask for all this today and every day. Amen.
