Hi folks Here is a really really good tips, that i think gonna suprise you as much as it suprised me. This restaurant, called Made Thai, just opened 3 weeks ago, just about 40 meters down towards the sea from Voodoo Restaurant. We arrived there about 18, not so much customers. The design is beautiful. Well, we sat down, me and my girlfriend. Startet looking in the menu, the waiter, come over to assistance, he recommended to dishes, i ordered 5 more, a total of 7 dishes. You don¨t have to do that, the size of the dishes are big, i didnt know that :) The first dish, arrived after 5 minutes, that was the Banana Tip with Egg & Prawn in Chilli Coconut Dressing, and MY GOD that was good, this one you really need to taste. After 5 minutes more, The next one was my Dipping sett containing Pig Skin, Sausage Bits from Chiang Mai, assorted vegetables and The chefs homemade dipping. The Dipping was something i havent tasted before, tasted very special and good, i really thought there was crab in it, but there wasnt :) But overall very good, very good taste. Next dish up was the oyster salad. Tasted very good, next after that was the crispy chicken salad, very good and a very special taste, and then come Fried rice, this one you dont have to order, taste good, but it is what it is, go for another dish then this. Then it was time for the dish i normally order everywhere, because this tell me very much about the restaurant and the taste, and that dish is the Vegetables in Oyster Sauce with Prawn. And the chef didnt disappointed me, it had a special taste that i have never taste before, and the vegetable was fresh and taste good, There was a very good taste of the oyster sauce, surprised me there for sure. So did the last dish, The Green Curry Chicken, o my God, that was so gooood, as you can see from my order, i was already full, but when this dish come, i couldnt control my self, eat almost everything, couldnt stop :)) When we was done i asked for the bill, that was almost the biggest surprise ; Only 1275 Baht !!!! include with water and Coke, and with the bill comes a card that will give you 10 % discount next time. I had to ask the waiter, who is the chef in this restaurant, because this is just superb taste and excellent food, and i can tell that the chef have taken some cooking-education. The waiter just smiled, and told me it is his father who is the chef, he´s originally from Chiang Mai, self taught, and been working for 20 years in Taipei in Taiwan, running his restaurant there, and now he have just opened his second branch here i Soi Chayapruk, Jomtien :) This restaurant is A MUST TRY :) is a «money back garantuee» - restaurant. I have dined in some Fine Dining Restaurants in Bangkok, and this one is in the same category. Its just a Fine Dining Restaurant. If you dont like Thai Food, dont go :) For everyone else, please go, i guarantee you a good experience :)
