Hi folks...its the Crabbet nut again! I would like to keep my boy really well hydrated on our trip down to the Nationals on Friday. It will be a good 3 hour plus trip down from Cheshire. We are going to do it in one day. We have fitted air extractors into the roof of our ancient horse lorry. I thought to encourage him to drink I could add apple juice to his water. In the past, when I did an endurance ride on Magic, our pit stops did provide him with a diluted sugar beet juice drink. A bit early for me to have that in stock. Any other ideas to encourage my Crabbet boy to drink? Cheers :-) to add I think the temperature is going to be at least 26 degrees...according to BBC weather.
