Hi friends! I am anxious to share some exciting news with you, however, today I was guided to reshare The Emotional Guidance Scale since we are in a releasing phase right now. (Details can be found in the forecast on Jories Numerology Chat.) Things like the emotional scale, my Today I let go of/invite in technique (see my post from Jan. 19th), showering, and chakra clearing stones (thesacredfeminine/chakra-stones.html) can be of great benefit during this time. These kinds of tools and techniques are especially helpful during this year, as 2014 is a 7 year which invites us to keep our energy fields as clear and purified as possible. Im really looking forward to the fresh energy that is headed our way on Tuesday/Wednesday... Stay tuned... ;) Here is my post on how to use the scale... :) Today, Id like to share The Emotional Guidance Scale with you again... In my experience, this is the MOST EFFECTIVE TOOL I have come across for releasing negativity and finding good-feeling thoughts. I truly hope that this technique will be effective for you. It is worth the climb--out of the dark emotions, and into the light! Feel free to share... The Emotional Guidance Scale is one of my favorite tools for emotional health. The premise behind it is that you cant just jump from depression or anger straight to joy. You need to recognize and acknowledge your feelings, and then work your way out of negativity one emotion at a time. For instance, anger feels much better than powerlessness, because when youre angry, you have taken some of your power back. So, when youre feeling off, start at the bottom and identify what emotion you are feeling on the scale. Then, purge your thoughts that resonate with that emotion. For example, “I feel depressed about/because ________”, or “I am angry that __________”. Continue to speak why you feel that specific emotion until you have stated everything you can think of that makes you feel that way. Next, try to reach for a thought that represents the emotion that is just one level higher up on the scale, and then repeat the process of purging and reaching. Even if you can only move up one level, you will find relief. The key is to aim for (at least) hope... Hope is where you crossover into the more positive emotions/thoughts. Hope gets your focus back in line with what it is that you want. Sometimes when Im feeling off, I just stop and ask myself, What is it that I am hoping for?
