Hi friends, Meghan here. Today is a special day: today is Milanne Rehors birthday! (She didnt want me to tell but I think she deserves a bit of a celebration!) Milanne has given more than 20 years of her life on Abaco Island in an attempt to protect the Abaco Spanish Colonial horse. As many of you are learning, it has been a rough go. There have been many losses, a lot of waiting, a lot of disappointment and frustration. She has been alone for much of it, isolated from friends and supporters. Shed be the first to admit that shes no longer a spring chicken. But we all know that age has nothing to do with much. Milanne is one of the strongest and most dedicated women that Ive ever met and it is because of her that Nunki is alive today, and because of her that the world even knows anything about the Abaco Spanish Colonial.
