Hi friends. This little Tiger snake is a great reminder for people to clean up old discarded building materials which may be piled up in their yards. When you do though, please remember what may have made a home under the rubble. Be careful to wear thick gloves and to use a stick if you have to, to move things safely. A nice young couple on Ryans Rd in Eltham North were clearing some bricks and concrete today which had been left by previous occupants. The lady thankfully saw some scales in a gap before putting her hands in, and decided not to take any chances as she ran inside to find my number. After arriving at the property, I pulled up a couple of bricks and found this little one. Of course, every time I moved one brick it would quickly hide under something else. as you can see, that game of hide and seek didnt last forever. It has now been safely relocated to a good habitat away from houses. Stay safe. Steve.
