High time we re-look into our customs, traditions and festivals. High time we redefine our celebrations. While its of utmost importance that we continue celebrating and practicing our traditions, we may forever be in conflict with a segment which would want these traditions to stop completely, citing nature, climate, pollution, and what not. And this conflict would go on forever until we decide to put an end to it. So, while I am all game for a more organic Ganpati Visarjan, waterless holi, and electronic firecrackers, there is no point strictly critisizing these festivals and celebrations as well. They are a part of us, and we should respect that fact
