‘Hired Gun’ Heighten Calls for Malupenga Arrest Calls for the arrest of former Information Permanent Secretary Amos Malupenga in Patriotic Front circles are stepping up with Open Society Foundation chairperson Sunday Chanda calling for the former Post Newspaper scribe’s arrest for his alleged role in the cancelled digital migration tender. Malupenga, a former Post Newspapers Managing Editor, has been caught up in the K210 million digital migration scam that was has been cancelled by his successor Emmanuel Mwamba who has also called for the arrest of the estranged Fred M’membe plant. Chanda said a thorough investigation should be conducted with the culprits brought to book. “We are calling for law enforcement agencies to conduct thorough investigations and bring the culprits to book it should not matter that they are permanent secretaries or not,” Chanda said.
