In a free market, everything is supposed to be competitive, even labor. Republicans who believe in giving all of the advantages to corporations/businesses should never ever utter another word about how much they “love” the free market. You can’t truly love what you are willing to abuse. If they loved the free market the way they say they do, they wouldn’t demonize unions and create right-to-work states. They seem to think that a free market should only work for corporations/businesses, but this is not so. That they keep supporting and passing these kinds of laws that take more of workers’ freedoms means that they don’t know squat about economics or the free market they profess to “love.” I was reared to believe that if you love some/one/thing, the last thing you do is abuse them/it. You revere it, protect it, and support things which contribute to its/their continued existence. The one thing you don’t do is try to kill it.
