Hiring Now: Financial Systems and Procedures Controller - Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) Visit Middle East Jobs >> bit.ly/midejobs Please Follow >> bit.ly/mideastjobs To manage the implementation and maintenance of Financial Policies & Procedures in line with ENEC’s Management System, and to maintain the efficiency of ENEC’s Financial System to ensure that Finance Policies and Procedures are up to date. Financial Systems: • Maintain the overall ENEC Finance & Accounts Department’s Financial System schedule to ensure compliance with management deadlines. • Facilitate the implementation, improvement and development of ENEC Financial systems including key liaison with ICT ERP team in order to ensure that business requirements are met. • Support & participate in the development and implementation of other systems automation in ENEC that affect Financial Systems and Procedures ensuring integrity of different systems vis-à-vis financial systems. • Ensure that all system development and implementation are in accordance with International Financial Reports Standards and contribute to a strong controls environment and timely reporting. • Prepare ENEC’s Financial System plan and evaluate system requirements for future. • Assist ENEC’s Subsidiary Financial System application. Policies & Procedures: • Develop and align the priorities of the Policy and Procedures team with the overall strategic goals of the CFO. • Maintain and update ENEC’s Delegation of Authority and Sub-Delegation of Authority. • Oversee and facilitate the completion and maintenance of all required policies, processes, procedures and other documents in accordance with the Management System. • Lead continuous improvement efforts by developing responses to internal audits, corrective action plans, lessons learned, and self-assessments, as required. • Ensure the completion of cross-functional Management System documentation review to integrate and ensure alignment with Finance & Accounts Department’s processes and procedures. • Assist ENEC’s subsidiary in the development of required policies and procedures. Building Capabilities: • Develop and implement relevant internal and external training programs required to develop Finance & Accounts Department’s staff and other users. Reporting: • Assist the Finance & Accounts Department’s functions in generating both routine and ad hoc reports ensuring they are submitted in a timely and accurate manner for submission to senior management for informed decision making. • Oversee the development of required reports, presentations and ad hoc analysis Planning and Budgeting: • Lead the development of the Financial Systems and Procedure department business plan & budget respectively, and monitor financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment.
