Our client a leading National organisation with decades of industry experience is currently looking to recruit a Heavy Equipment / Riggging Supervisor to work in the refinery division. The role: - Responsibility to provide Heavy Equipment services to all refinery departments to assure the on line availability of units. - Prepare and review critical rigging studies to guide the crane operator abd associated workforce in the safe handling of equipment. - Responsibility for the maintenance and repairs of mobile and gantry cranes, forklifts, winches and all associated lifting tackles & equipment. - Supervision of Rigger manpower and call-off contract manpower. - Responsibility to assure that all work orders related to heavy equipment and rigging are prioritized and carried out. - Arranges for the inspection, load testing and certification / color coding by TPI. - Responsibility for the procurement of rigging related tools, equipment & spares. Experience/Qualifications: - Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification. - Strong communication with good command of English. - 15 years of hands on experience in the heavy equipment lifting & rigging, maintenance and operation of mobile cranes, overhead cranes, winches, forklifts.
